India (Ksenia)

The weather in India changes dramatically. Indian Meteorological Service has classified the country into seven different climatic regions:the Himalayas, Assam and West Bengal, the Indo-Gangetic Plain/North Indian Plain, the Western Ghats and coast, the Deccan Plateau, and the Eastern Ghats and coast. But it is habitually to divide the indian weather for three seasons: winter, summer and the monsoon.

Summer(March to May)
In india is getting hot aproximately in february. By April, in many places daily temperatures exceeds 40 degrees Celsius (105 degrees Fahrenheit). In late May, signs of the approaching monsoon start appearing. Humidity levels build, there are thunderstorms and dust storms.

Monsoon (June to October)
India has two monsoon - the southwest monsoon and the northeast monsoon. By mid July, most of the country is covered in rain.

Winter (November to February)
The disappearance of the monsoon means the start of clear sunny skies, as well as the start of the tourist season, daytime winter temperatures are comfortable.
In the south, it never gets cold. This is in complete contrast to India’s far north, around the Himalaya region.
